OBJECTIVES
Advocacy and awareness raising on transitioning residential care services to community and family care systems.
Economic strengthening (conditional cash grants, placement packages, IGAs, financial literacy, vocational/apprenticeship skilling, startup kits etc.) for young people who have left care settings.
Integrate mental health and psychosocial support in care and after care (counselling ,peer to peer support, referrals)
Make available life skills training and support for CEP
Providing networking opportunities for member CEP and engagement with key stakeholders
Supporting and developing evidence-based effective practice relating to CEP
Championing the work of CEP through advocacy and communications
Ensuring the future sustainability of the organization through fundraising, self funding activities and local ownership
